Nylon 66 Membrane Disc Filter Paper
Product Code : Nylon-66
Brand Name : SS Filters
Product Description

Nylon 66 Membrane Disc Filter Paper

We offer avant-garde Nylon 66 Membrane Filters which are characterized with maximum pore size that are well defined. These absolute filters are used as the final filters and have double layered membranes. Known for non fiber releasing type, these have very good chemical compatibility. The Nylon 66 Membrane Filters are also compatible with various alkali solutions and solvents. They are easy to sterilize or autoclave and their pH range is 3 to 14. Some more exclusive attributes are no surfactants, extremely low extractables, and naturally hydrophilic. These are offered in different diameters and 4 grades of pore sizes such as 0.22, 0.45, 0.8 & 1.2 microns.

Applications

One of the major applications for PTFE membrane is the clarification of corrosive solvents and aggressive fluids. Air & gas sterilization make use of the hydrophobic characteristics of PTFE membrane and their ability to stop aqueous aerosols. Usual pore sizes are 0.2 & 0.45 microns.

Applications include:

  • HPCL solvents & sample filtration
  • Sterile venting of vacuum manifolds, fermenting vessels
  • Sterile filtrate tanks & containers
